Grab your gaiters and whip out your bugle to tootle the Assembly call, as Raid: World War II [official site] is now out. It’s a cooperative class-based shooter from Lion Game Lion, a studio that has contributed to Payday 2. Raid: World War II due from ex-Payday devs next month

Those naughty Nazis are back and being murdered to bits in Raid: World War II [official site], a new cooperative shooter being published by Payday 2 publishers Starbreeze Studios. The four-player stealth-o-shooter will send goodies to rob, sabotage, and murder the baddies, leaving mayhem and destruction in their wake. It’s meant to be similar-ish to Payday 2. Starbreeze Launch IndieLabs Label With AntiSphere

It is increasingly misleading to refer to Riddick developers Starbreeze Studios as ‘Riddick developers Starbreeze Studios’. It became awkward when they bought Payday devs Overkill Software, then they made the jolly surprising Brothers, they got into publishing, and I always want to highlight/defend Syndicate’s co-op, and… now they have launched a new publishing label. Starbreeze IndieLabs, as you might guess from the name, will fund and publish smaller games by smaller teams. Hoxton Hootenanny: Payday 2’s Crimefest Updates

Let's do some crimes!

Look, you can’t name your company Overkill Software then do things meekly. Your games need to shoot thousands of men, steal millions of dollars, and roll out patches in big ostentatious displays. To celebrate co-op heist ’em up series Payday’s third birthday, over twelve days Overkill have added to Payday 2 everything from new weapons and snazzy sunglasses to a grand new mission and a playable cheap Keanu Reeves lookalike, all for free. They called it Crimefest.
