Zap! Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Patched, DLC Coming Free

For a £32 re-release of a decade-old game, Marvel: Ultimate Alliance was in a right sorry state when the minimally-revamped version hit Steam in July, and its sequel wasn’t in much better shape. MUA didn’t recognise Xbox controller buttons correctly, sound crackled, and none of the first game’s DLC characters were included. For £30, I’d expect proper definitive editions of the superhero action-RPGs. Heck, I’d hope for full remakes. At the very least, I’d want a working game. Anyway, now Activision say they’ve patched many of the major problems and they have the DLC coming too.

Oof! Marvel: Ultimate Alliance Re-Releases Are Messes

If you’re going to re-release a decade-old game as new for £32, it had better be one heck of a revamp. For £32, I’m talking new kitchen, new bathroom, swept chimneys, and at least making sure the dang game works properly. Well, Activision last night released new versions of the two Marvel: Ultimate Alliance superhero action-RPGs, and the news is not good.

Zok! Thwap! Marvel Ultimate Alliance Returns Revamped

Bam! Bif! Pow! Pants-over-trousers action-RPG Marvel Ultimate Alliance is returning to PC. Kazonk! The save the world ’em up first came to PC in 2006 but this rerelease will be fancied up a bit. Yowch! It’s coming to Steam on Tuesday. Bap! What’s more, Marvel are also releasing its sequel, Ultimate Alliance 2, on PC for the very first time. Bim!
