Help: The Game Collection Benefits War Child Charity

Eleven developers, including familiar names like The Creative Assembly and Rovio, have teamed up with War Child to help raise money for children in areas of conflict. The bundle includes 12 unique games for £9.99/$14.99 and all proceeds go to the charity. It’s an excellent chance to do good while playing some fine games.

Tiny Thief Released On Steam For 1700% More Than Mobile

Oh Rovio, you are such scamps! Now richer than China, the Angry Birds developers can’t seem to get enough money. Despite the income stream from Angry Birds lunch boxes, Angry Birds towels and Angry Birds flip-flops, their need to tower bundles of banknotes to reach the moon is unsated. So it is that 69p mobile game Tiny Thief has just been released on Steam for £11.99.

Flock Together: Free PC Angry Birds

Yes, that's the first level. I am lazy-man.

Angry Birds is a catapult game that has proven quite successful on mobile telephones. In other news, Elvis Presley sold some records, chocolate tastes quite good and Star Wars offered positive licensing opportunities.

The PC version of Rovio’s bland but compulsive one-button physics puzzler perhaps hasn’t proved quite so much a phenonemon, but that’s probably got something to do with being far more expensive than the eyeTelephone and (free) Android versions. For a limited period, this imbalance is addressed – you can grab the game for free.

Angry Internet Birds

Angry internet birds. Like angry internet men, but birds.

I know how this works. I’m going to mention Angry Birds and you’re going to say how much you despise it and how games x, y, z and xyz are much better. Fine, got it, understand, you don’t need to tell me after all. I’m going to mention it anyway, because it’s vaguely surprisingly to hear that the weirdly sterile iOS catapult game has turned up on PC.
