Warriors All-Stars crossovers with Dead Or Alive, Ninja Gaiden, and more

Having previously predicted that Omega Force’s Warriors games are on a path to create hack ‘n’ slash adaptations of all fictional and historical stories, I feel vindicated to see that they’re now rolling a load of video games into one Warriors game. Publishers Koei Tecmo today announced a PC release for Warriors All-Stars [official site], a game throwing together characters from Warriors games along with Dead Or Alivers, Ninjas Gaiden, and other Tecmo stars. Steam Charts: Grounds for Battlecelebration

Alec is still away, ostensibly on holiday but presumed dead. Ride in peace, Alec Meer. All that remains of last week’s chart caretaker is a selection of small bones John coughed up, so it’s my turn. It’s a good week in the charts!

We’ve some new games, some familiar faces, and at least one familiar face with a new game. It’s a shame Mass Effect: Andromeda’s Origin exclusivity keeps it out of this comparison. Not to ruin the suspension but: PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds, the new early access Hunger Royale game, is riding high at the top of the hit parade.

Toukiden 2 brings more monster-hunting to PC

Omega Force are back with more Monster Hunter-ish action in Toukiden 2 [official site], released today. It’s an open-world hack ‘n’ slash action-RPG set in a Japanese medieval fantasy world, where players need to roam around around murdering giant demons by hacking off bodyparts. Hunt those monsters with Toukiden 2 on PC in March

Toukiden 2 [official site], a follow-up to the Monster Hunter-ish action-RPG, will indeed be coming to PC. Tecmo Koei today confirmed a PC release and announced a release date of March 21st, also blorping up a new trailer with folks duffing up some big ol’ demons. I’ve not played the first Toukiden myself but hear it’s fairly solid Monster Hunting with a dodgy PC port so, er, here’s hoping for more of the former and less of the latter.
