The Walking Dead season 3 shambling towards Dec 20th

Walking ever onwards

The third season of Telltale's episodic The Walking Dead story-o-adventures will kick off on December 20th, the developers announced today. Clementine will return once more with new pals/future corpses and oh gosh is the world still full of wandering zombies? You'd think that rotten mob would've settled down by now. The third season continues Telltale's wacky new policy of superlong names, bearing the official title The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series - A New Frontier [official site]. Nailed it.

This season premiere is actually delayed a touch, as we last heard it'd start in November. Anywho, here's a brief synopsis from Telltale:

"When family is all you have left... how far will you go to protect it? Four years after society was ripped apart by undead hands, pockets of civilization emerge from the chaos. But at what cost? Can the living be trusted on this new frontier? As Javier, a young man determined to find the family taken from him, you meet a young girl who has experienced her own unimaginable loss. Her name is Clementine, and your fates are bound together in a story where every choice you make could be your last."

Telltale say they plan to show off a smidge of the game during Sid Meier's Tom Clancy's Keighley Geoffgame Video Gaming Videogame Game Game Golden Olden Game Gold Award Ceremony Prizefest-o-rama on Thursday, December 1st.
