The Walking Dead: Season 3 To Revisit Clem, Comics

Choose-your-own-disaster

The Walking Dead: Michonne [official site], a miniseries in Telltale's episodic choose-your-own-disaster line, wraps up today with the release of its third episode. This closes a gap in the comic book story, a point where Michonne had vanished off for a few issues. And Telltale will be dipping into the comic book world a bit more, according to comic creator Robert Kirkman. He's opened up a wee bit about Season Three of Telltale's The Walking Dead, which is due this year, and will once again visit Clementine.

In a promo video interview for TWD: Michonne, Kirkman explained that "the books that are coming out now are roughly in the same timeframe that Season 3 will be in." So, yeah, they'll cross over a bit. He explained a bit of what to expect:

"We'll be checking in on Clementine again, so we'll be seeing her, we'll be seeing where she's at and what's going on with her, which is going to be great. But also I think, similar to the Michonne series, I think there will probably be some more comic book elements that'll be working in some interesting ways. I don't want to reveal too much, but it'll definitely go hand-in-hand with the comics a little bit more than Season Two did."

Here's the whole video, which also gabs a load about The Walking Dead: Michonne:

And hey, here's a trailer for the finale of The Walking Dead: Michonne:

How've you found the miniseries anyway? Are more comic book cross-overs desirable or is it better doing its own thing?
