Pip's Games Of 2016

Games which left their mark

I was going to write an alternative Games Of The Year list for 2016 but a) I didn't get round to it and b) part of my GOTY-is-unhelpful philosophy hinges around not enough time having passed to see the games of a particular year in context. With that in mind, I'm going to do a brief proto-list of Games of the Year for 2016 now that we are clear of that year. I didn't include anything which made it onto the official RPS Advent Calendar but there was enough which other people hadn't played or didn't warm to for me to make another list. It's subject to change, it features games that weren't even released in 2016 but which were relevant to my own gaming experience in 2016, it features things that aren't games and probably a whole load of other travesties which I don't care about because it is my list!
