The Crackle

It is impossible to say how first the idea entered my brain; but once conceived, it haunted me day and night.

I hear it everywhere. On my phone, from my TV speakers, in the voice of my four-year-old daughter, in my sleep. The crackle. The problem I can’t solve.

The Crackle only exists in my PC; somewhere in its hardware or software, and I know not where.
