I spent last week in Berlin, watching plunkers plink away at each other in the PUBG Global Invitational. I've got mixed feelings about Playerunknown's Battlegrounds as an esport, but I'll tell you about those another time. When I wasn't interviewing condescending developers or writing about their game, I snuck off to learn some sweet history facts.
