Sorry, I'm supposed say something witty or interesting here, but I got distracted reading about raccoons. So tell me, what are you playing this weekend? Here's what we're on:
I'm playing Stellaris
. Probably for the entire 48 hour period.
Dark Souls. Dark Souls 1, not 3, because I want to do this properly, from the start, knowing what it all means and how it's changed. God, a week ago the last thing I ever wanted to play was Dark Souls. Now there is only Dark Souls. A raft of turn-based strategy games on my hard drive now gather dust, abandoned. What is happening to me? Is this... is this death?
could be the weekend I catch up on my sleep and rest. No, probably not, given there's still Dark Souls III and the call of Deadly Premonition ever echoing and Overwatch's open beta weekend
and I'm catching up on Places
and... is it legal to pay someone to clock you with a cinderblock for a nice, relaxing two-day coma?
In my dreams I will be playing Stellaris, the space strategy game from Paradox that Adam's been sharing stories from
all week. In reality, at best, I will play some more of Prune. Slicing branches off rapidly growing trees is soothing and I've a few levels left.
I'm hoping to get Kathy Rain
finished early this weekend so we can have a review up on Monday, and also to take a look at Ecotone and the Empyrion update, but I am also aware that I won't. Because life is busy, and it's the weekend, and the glorious days of spending weekends playing games are lost to me. Apart from last weekend when my wife and son were away, where I instead opted to have a gall stone and spend a night in hospital in agony. I'm AMAZING at spare time.
This weekend I will be playing Battleborn
because I am working on the Battleborn review. That's my story and I am sticking to it. I might also try to find out where I put the gummy worms bag so I can eat those while I play Battleborn. But I will be playing Battleborn. And thinking about gummy worms. I will be playing Battleworm. I will be reviewing gummy worms. I am hungry.
But you, dearest reader, what are you playing?
