Super Spoofery: The Sims Goes Horror

We've all been there.

College Humor gets it right pretty often, and this remarkably well produced Sims spoof is perfectly aimed. Sure, we’ve all told our own version of the time we made our Sims die in a puddle of their own urine, but CH realises those jokes with impressive production values and a superb horror movie vibe. In fact, it’s because we’re all so familiar with the themes that it works so well. Watch it below.

Head over to their site and watch the Street Fighter: The Later Years series. Comedy Gold. The Minesweeper movie trailer is awesome too.

    Best movie since Minesweeper.

That is how they should do a Sims movie – but they won’t (maybe I’m exaggerating – it’s at least good for a short). Oh dear … what will the real The Sims: The Movie be like?

dear god. now i will never look at the sims the same way. especially the removal of ladder. it was always so much fun.

    great stuff

  13. Clovis says:

That’s interesting. I often play the Sims while jumping up and down on a couch and blubbering, “I’m having fun, I’m having fun, I’m having fun….”

  14. DMcCool says:

The Diamond above his head should have been red, not green. None of that man’s needs were being furfilled. Things like that are what annoys me about College Humour – they have these great concepts and high production values but just fail on the attention to detail. They are often funny but never clever. Which is a pity.

That said, I’m glad someone has made that trailer. Something about people realising the sort of silly thoughts that wonder across gamers minds in short films makes me fuzzy and warm inside.

    slightly amusing

John, I think you might’ve meant “College Humor doesn’t get it right too often, but this remarkably well produced Sims spoof is perfectly aimed.”

  18. PJ says:

It doesn’t trump minesweeper in humor or quality (in that it actually looks like a plausible movie trailer) but I lol’d :)
