Call of Duty: WW2 recruits Doctor Who for Nazi Zombies

Actors including David Tennant (Ian Whom PhD), Elodie Yung (Electro), Katheryn Winnick (Ribs), Ving Rhames (Quentin Tarantino's A True Story), and Udo Kier (Disturbia) are lending their voices to characters in the cooperative Nazi Zombies mode of Call of Duty: WW2 [official site], Activision announce. I'm sure they're fine actors but the next CoD: Infinite Warfare zombie DLC has Elvira, Mistress of the Dark and I know which I find more exciting. Anyway, this announcement trailer fresh from San Diego Comic-Con shows some of the shambling horrors we'll gun down with our chums:
The story this time around is that our heroes have gone to a Bavarian village to recover stolen art, only to find that some naughty Nazi has made a load of zombies. As ever, players will shoot them to pieces together.
"With Nazi Zombies, we're creating a frightening world full of terrifying characters and events that will make you jump and look over your shoulder," Sledgehammer Games co-founder Glen Schofield said in the announcement. "There's an incredible amount of myth and lore, which our team has poured through in our development."
"This is unlike anything before, we're taking players to some very dark, grim places in Nazi Zombies. This is one hell of a horror experience."
By which he means they've replaced a zombie's arm with a mace.
Call of Duty: WW2 is due on November 3rd.
Next time Activision go on about Call of Duty: WWII being "authentic" and "honest" (words they have used before) as if they're making the game as a digital wreath to lay at a war memorial, remember that they're turning genocidal human experiments into a kooky game mode about zombies.
