Call The Godcat: JRPG Asdivine Hearts Comes To PC

Who put that god in a cat?

Okay, so Asdivine Hearts [official site] is the second PC release from veteran Japanese crew Kemco, but I missed the first so let's coo over this as another nice instance of more Japanese games coming our way in recent years. Kemco have been in games since the '80s, but have lately become known for their JRPGs on pocket telephones. Asdivine Hearts hit pockphones in 2014, getting some good reviews, and now it's on Windows and Mac. It involves a special cat.

As far as I can make out, Asdivine Hearts has some plucky youngsters teaming up with a god incarnated in a cat to save the world:

"... a surprising revelation awaits a young man by the name of Zack and his childhood friend, Stella, in the capital from a chubby cat claiming to be none other than the Light Deity and declaring the world to be on the verge of a great collapse.
Although skeptical at first, this band of unlikely adventurers soon finds this chance encounter to be only the beginning of an adventure set to not only change their lives, but their fates, as well."

So damned demanding, cats. Pet me. Feed me. Save the world with me. Give over, you fluffy nuisa- aw, don't give me that look. You big sweetie you. Fine, fine, let's save the world, I'll just put on my boots and- this would go a lot quicker if you would stop attacking my laces AND HAND.

Asdivine Hearts is £7.19 on Steam right now, thanks to a 20% launch discount. Kemco's first JRPG on PC was Alphadia Genesis last January, by the way. But here's a trailer Asdivine Hearts, godcat and all:
