Most foul.
Murder may not feature Dick Dastardly, but it really does do both cartoon villainy and nasty stares brilliantly, all the while teaching us historical lessons of the utmost importance. Also, that being stabbed in the back is an honourable way for a king to go and a most elegant political tool.

Murder is also a very simple, very funny little game in which you get to to try kill the king, become king yourself and stay in the throne long enough for you to die of old age.
This being a one-button affair, everything happens by pressing space. You press it to charge your stab action - and immediately release it if the king seems to be about to turn around - and, when you are king yourself, you press it to swiftly turn around and catch your would-be murderer in the act.
Every assassination attempt will have to result either in a new king or a fresh skeleton in the dungeons.
