The Growth Project: A cross between gardening and golf

Putting greenery

The Growth Project is a work-in-progress which is halfway between gardening and either pinball or crazy golf - I haven't decided which yet. It's currently pay-what-you-want on Itch.io so I figured I'd flag it up as it has some really pleasing succulents on the desert levels! I felt absolutely terrible for interrupting a couple of dung beetles, though...

As per the game page:

Despite each island vaguely resembling a golf course, The Growth Project doesn't penalize nor limit the number of balls a player may use to grow a given island. Instead, the game rewards players by cranking up a score multiplier every time the ball ricochets off of a wall or new object. This multiplier will affect the base number of points rewarded for each object you grow in a given shot. The more bounces you get before growing something, the more points you'll squeeze out of it. This is what The Growth Project qualifies as "skillful play".

I should also point out that although The Growth Project is currently available free of charge (if you choose not to donate) the developer intends to bulk it out in terms of content and thus points out that the current pricing won't last forever.
