The Sunday Papers
A quick Sunday Papers to relax to this week, as I'm terribly hungover and still have Le Tigre songs spinning around my head from last night's dancefloor and I'm going to have to do it quickly, or I'm going to end up linking to Live versions of Hot Topic or something.
- Sam Kennedy over at the 1UP block does what I think is the definitive take on the whole GerstmannGate at Gamespot. If you need a single source on the history of it, this is the one to go for.
- Let's play Point/Counterpoint. Nathan Toronoto takes apart the RTS over at Gamasutra. Meanwhile, strategy-reviewer Godhead Troy Goodfellow takes apart his taking apart of the RTS.
- Also at the 'sut Spark Unlimited are interviewed about the political inspirations of their forthcoming Nazis-win-WW2 FPS Turning Point.
- Did I really just write "the 'sut" for Gamasutra?
- We thought this was cute. Sarah Michelle Gellar ranting about how much she loves American McGee's Alice to Sci-fi-wire.
- Seriously, Hot Topic remains a song and a fucking half. Listen to it!
Failed.
