What Are You Playing This Weekend?
WELL?
I could waffle and warble but: The Witcher 3. It's The Witcher 3. I'll be playing a lot of The Witcher 3 this weekend. Unless this glorious weather holds, that is, in which case I'll spend all weekend in or near water. Maybe around some trees.
I've really enjoyed The Witcher 3's in-game CCG Gwent, playing it with every character I can. Sadly, this means I've reached the point where they no longer hand out new cards - and I'm still many cards short of being able to make one of those ridiculous Nilfgaard decks which throw the first round so they can draw a zillion cards. Hmm. I should hit up more of those high-stakes games. I'd be surprised if we don't see a virtual or physical spin-off of Gwent.
Though speaking of water and warm weather, I might have a whole lot more time to spend with games soon. The swimming pond is becoming too crowded and noisy for my liking. Loads of people who didn't swim through the icy winter are turning up now the water's warming and... why? Don't they know it was better when it was colder? I don't understand these people at all.
