Iron Fish's Deep Sea Horror Now Shivering Timbers

This game will definitely make you walk the poop deck.

I have recurring nightmares about driving over a bridge, only to find the deck is missing as I plunge to my death. That doesn't have much to do with BeefJack's Iron Fish [official site], but I absolutely hate the claustrophobic thought of drowning, and this game has a ton of water.

In Iron Fish, you play as Cerys, an elite British naval investigator, as she explores the harsh realm of the Atlantic depths. Everything that is bad in the ocean seems like it will remain in your general vicinity as you explore shipwrecks, man vehicles, and generally do sea-related things.

The game is touted as an "emergent horror sandbox", so if you get tired of things related to the main plot eating your face, you can go swim around and find some optional face eating. Just don't go doing it in real life. I realize it's almost Halloween and all, but that's a really bad idea.

Iron Fish is available now on Steam for £11.24/14,99€/$14.99.
