Spinning A Yarn: The Cat Lady
This gives me the creepydinks. A trailer for a new indie adventure called The Cat Lady. However, it doesn't seem to be about a nice old lady living with her twenty-seven cats, eventually dying and being eaten by them. Nor a giant cat-human mutant destroying central Brighton. Instead it appears to be about DEATH and BLOOD and GORE. Also, a rather interesting looking paper-craft style of animation. I'm not entirely sure the video below could be qualified as safe for work, mostly because it's so weird. So at your discretion, click on.
Jim wrote about developer Harvester Games' previous game, Downfall (sadly neither based on the movie, nor the rotation-based plastic game) here. Remigiusz Michalski clearly likes his horror. And it's probably worth noting that the URL for the game's page ends, "harvest/games_suicide_watch.html".
It's about Susan Ashworth, who has just committed suicide. She's in some sort of limbo, ready to walk into her afterlife, when she finds she's alive again. And tries to live her second chance, except the strange warning she's brought back with her is getting in the way. Then blood.
