Trackmania 2 Will Not Contain UbiDRM

We've just had word from the electronic beak of Ubisoft. It says: "You’ll need to register online once when you install the game. You’ll then be able to play without an online connection." So there you have it: Trackmania 2 is free from always-on tyranny! The game is out on the 14th. I am gonna race so fast.
Anyone else got any exciting DRM news? I'm all out.
