Steve Hogarty

Steve Hogarty is an award-winning travel writer and technology journalist who won't tell us what specific award he's won but says it's "basically the Pulitzer-prize of regional, Latin American airlines-sponsored tourism awards, so yes I can put it in my bio". A proud believer that every man is for himself, he's the editor who ploughed beloved 90s PC Zone magazine into an iceberg before fleeing the scene on the roomiest lifeboat he could find. His work has been featured in magazines including Edge and Vice before the Saudis got it, he's made mam-thrilling appearances on BBC News, and was a regular guest on the TV series Videogame Nation (if you can remember Challenge TV). Steve's previous publications include City AM and the Official Nintendo Magazine. He currently writes for The Independent about laptops and such.
