Call of Duty: Warzone - Best AX-50 Loadout
The best AX-50 loadout.
The AX-50 is the favourite sniper of many Warzone players, but how do you kit it out perfectly for your loadout?
The AX-50 is a sniper you'll unlock after playing the game for a little while. For that reason, you might've gotten used to the HDR by then, but for those of you who want to try something new in Warzone, read on.
Best AX-50 Loadout in Warzone
We've been testing out the AX-50 in Warzone a whole bunch. It's the sniper of choice for numerous Warzone players, and it's easy to see why. With the one-shot kill ability and various advantages over the HDR, the AX-50 can be a fantastic gun in the right hands. Check out our AX-50 vs HDR comparison for more info, and in Warzone you'll want to be using these attachments:
- Muzzle - Monolithic Suppressor
- Barrel - 32.0" Factory Barrel
- Laser - Tac Laser
- Stock - Singuard Arms Assassin
- Rear Grip - Stippled Grip Tape
These are our favourites to go for. The Tac Laser and Singuard Arms Assassin help massively with mobility and aim-down-sights time, whilst the 32.0" Factory Barrel and Monolithic Suppressor give you that extra bit of bullet velocity whilst reducing your bullet drop slightly. In Warzone, you'll have to get really used to the AX-50's bullet drop, so pick a barrel and stick with it - we found it surprisingly easy to get to grips with the 32.0" Factory Barrel's properties.
The one attachment you might feel like swapping out is the Thermal Dual Power Scope. It's amazing for target acquisition in Warzone, but lots of people have started running the Cold Blooded perk. If you fancy, you can always switch this scope out for 7-Round Mags or Stippled Grip Tape, depending on whether you're after a bit of extra capacity before reloading or some faster ADS speed.

For the rest of your loadout, it's pretty simple. Ghost is essential, and we've chosen Cold Blooded to combat enemies with the same loadout we've chosen, and this time picked out the .357 handgun as our secondary. Find out how to unlock the attachment of choice with our Akimbo guide, and get them out in close-quarters if needed. Despite the nerf they still pack one hell of a punch. Here's the whole rest of the loadout:
- Secondary weapon - .357 Snakeshot Akimbo
- Perk 1 - Cold Blooded
- Perk 2 - Ghost
- Perk 3 - Tracker
- Lethal - C4
- Tactical - Heartbeat Sensor
Since you don't have access to Overkill, you're stuck with your secondary, at least until you pick up a weapon you prefer. Often, we've grabbed an MP7 off the ground and run with it - it can be a better option than your akimbo snakeshots.
Heartbeat Sensors are vital for detecting flanking enemies, so it's extremely important at least one member of your team is holding one. You'll also want to hold onto some C4 for vehicle-exploding reasons, super important when you're caught short with enemies bearing down on you.
