Terry Defence: Freaking Meatbags Makes Humans Useful

For once

Anyone who's been given professional authority over a human being can tell you they're awful. Humans are lazy, stupid, and biologically inferior. Freaking Meatbags knows how to whip them into shape. With so much mining to do, it's only sensible to forcefully improve the feckless meatbags with science, and it'll probably make them more useful in fending off all these robot attacks too. Freaking Meatbags is a RTS-tower defence-arena shooter-hybrid sort of a game, see.

Come see in a new trailer developers Wild Factor have dropped ahead of the game's Steam Early Access release later this month.

With the solar system collapsing, Freaking Meatbags will have you stripping planets of their resources while you still can. Humans can help out, but they'll be a lot more useful with a little alien DNA spliced in to give them abilities like laser eyes, rocket launchers (which, sure, probably come from genes), and exploding. For whatever reason, robots are none too pleased with what you're up to, so you'll need to fend them off by building static defences, sending out superhumans, and roaming around yourself with gun drones.

This all reminds me a bit of Revenge of the Titans but with more getting your robohands dirty, which I'm certainly in favour of. Here, have a gander at this trailer:
