Ubisoft's Annual Uplay Spring Sale Now On
Spring savings.
My calendar tells me we're now over halfway through April. The Met Office tells me astronomical spring in the northern hemisphere started on March 20. Yet the weatherman told me yesterday that I can expect highs of a whopping nine degrees centigrade here in Glasgow this weekend. I'd swear it was still winter had the annual Uplay Spring Sale not kicked off this week, with big discounts on the likes of Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Rainbow Six Siege and Far Cry 4, among others. Which others, you say? Find out after the drop.
Open to players in Europe, the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Oceania, Ubisoft's annual Uplay Spring Sale knocks up to 75% off the publisher's games from right this very second until April 27. Those included this year are: the Assassin's Creed franchise, Trials Fusion, Far Cry Primal, Far Cry 4, The Crew, the Splinter Cell series, Watch_Dogs, the Anno series, and Rainbow Six Siege.
You'll of course need to be signed up to Uplay to get your hands on the deals, and the sale will also feature short-term (every 48 hours/72 hours) and long-term deals (every 7 days/14 days). If you opt for the "download of the moment" - which is Rainbow Six Siege over the course of the weekend - you'll be treated to a "surprise", the details of which Ubi plan to unveil soon.
If physical hard copies are your thing, Ubisoft say real-life boxed versions of their games can be "shipped to more than 140 countries within the region", however don't specify which ones up front. The sale also includes discounts on DLC, season passes, and special editions with special cases. Oh, and there's figurines of game characters, and life-sized plastic gauntlets and knives in there too if that's your cup of tea.
