Fallout 4 mod Revolted adds an in-game '90s-style FPS
The new Fallout 4 mod Revolted [Nexus page] combines past and present in an impressive yet horrifying combination by adding a rude 'tude '90s FPS to the apocalyptoworld as an in-game video game. The checklist:
A growling protagonist? ☑
With politeness issues? ☑
And a cigar welded to his teeth? ☑
Colour-coded locked doors? ☑
First-person platforming? ☑
The nuked-out world of tomorrow is more grim than ever before.
Revolted is jolly impressive, replicating an olde FPS in play and look, with a whole load of low-poly characters, low-res textures, and all that. Have a gander:
Pretty swish, right? Creator 'Cohagen' explains:
"In the game you play as the Overseer of Vault 102 and must take back control of the Vault from the evil Professor.
"Revolted (the future of gaming) has many features which include Three dimensional Graphics, Mono sound, poly processing and Next level artificial intelligence.
"Revolted is the next level of challenge, bad guys are really mean, bullets give you damage, toxic waste is toxic and the language at times borders on inappropriate."
You can download Revolted from Nexus Mods. To play the game in-game, head on over to Concord Speakeasy near the Museum of Freedom and fire up the terminal.
Be sure to prepare yourself to play safely: slam a Jolt Cola; defrag your hard drive; set your AOL Instant Messenger away message; tell your sister not to use the phone line; bunga your cow; and hold onto your butt.
