Where can I find Jizo statues in Ghostwire: Tokyo? Newly Game Pass-ified action-adventure-horror outing Ghostwire: Tokyo sees your character gain access to ethereal weaving. This trio of elemental powers — wind, water, and fire — can be used to hold off the attacks of the various creepy demonic Visitors who've overrun Tokyo's Shibuya ward.

Instead of ammo, these powers use elemental charges called SP; but, like ammo, you can only carry so many points of charge for each power at a time. There's limited opportunity to expand your spiritual pockets, which is where Jizo statues come in. Praying to any Jizo statue you find as you explore the streets of Tokyo will expand your capacity for one type of elemental charge by one point. On this page we let you know the best way to track down Jizo statues in Ghostwire: Tokyo, and give you the locations of the ones we've found so far that come in handy during the early game.

How to find Jizo statues in Ghostwire: Tokyo

There are 52 Jizo statues in Ghostwire: Tokyo, scattered all across the map. Expect to find between one and four in most areas, although some smaller regions of the map have no Jizo statues at all, making it very hard to predict where you'll find one.

Also, not all elemental powers were created equal, as the game contains:

  • 30 Wind Jizo statues (green)
  • 15 Water Jizo statues (blue)
  • 7 Fire Jizo statues (red)

Say a prayer at every Jizo statue on the map and you'll reach Akito's max capacity of 10 fire charges, 25 water charges, and 60 wind charges.

Looking for Jizo statues gets a fair bit easier once you gain Spectral Vision about halfway through Chapter 2. This power is Ghostwire: Tokyo's answer to detective vision and will highlight objects of interest in the area with a blue outline that is visible even through walls. Upgrading this ability on the skill tree allows for up to two extensions of its range. You'll also hear an audible jingle whenever a new object gets highlighted.

You can also pray to find more Jizo statues at offering boxes, provided there are undiscovered statues in the area. Doing so will add the nearest statue you haven't yet activated as a marker on your map.

Jizo statue locations in Ghostwire: Tokyo

Here are all the Jizo statue locations in Ghostwire: Tokyo, broken down by map area:

Akisawa Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Akisawa Shrine area of the map, both located in the region's eastern wedge:

  1. Wind: Head directly east of the Akisawa Shrine. This statue is in a dead-end alley at the centre of the next block. There aren't many landmarks nearby, but the statue is against the outer wall of a building and illuminated by a lantern on a pole.
  2. Water: This statue is in a run-down green space with plant pots and a bench behind a gas station, just to the north as you follow the main road away from Shibuya Central Hospital.

Akitsu Shrine area Jizo statues

There are three Jizo statues in the Akitsu Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located on the border with the Shiroyama Shrine area, at the back of an alley east of the main highway through the area. The statue is adjacent to a construction site, with yellow-and-black fencing on its left and a large white construction fence behind it.
  2. Water: This statue is located around the back of the convenience store at the area's southern edge.
  3. Fire: This statue is located in a city block containing two convenience stores with a highway overpass running through it. Drop into the underpass to find this statue in an overgrown area near a concrete wall.

Chishima Shrine area Jizo statues

There are three Jizo statues in the Chishima Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located to the east of the area's main road, in a small side-street area with tiled planters across the road and directly to the east of a convenience store.
  2. Wind: This statue is in a graveyard just off the main road running through the area, near "Tottoko Cinemas" at its northernmost point.
  3. Water: This statue is located along a small strip of grass behind the row of houses, directly against the concrete wall separating the residential area from the forest.

Hatsuike Shrine area Jizo statues

There is one Jizo statue in the Hatsuike Shrine area of the map:

  1. Water: Find this statue by following the road that borders the area's north and western edges, closing in the forest. This statue is in an alleyway just east of the point where the road curves, in an area surrounded by low wooden fences.

Hirokawa Shrine area Jizo statues

There are no Jizo statues in the Hirokawa Shrine area of the map.

Hitani Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Hitani Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located under the bridge where you can walk down into the river. It's next to some steps down into the water near to the Kappa's location.
  2. Fire: At the three-way intersection of the main roads through the area, turn directly north to find this statue in an alleyway, across from some blue bins.

Kamio Shrine area Jizo statues

There are three Jizo statues in the Kamio Shrine area of the map:

  1. Water: Travel directly south from Ginpei Crossing until you reach a pavement area containing this statue. It's between two pedestrian crossings at the V-intersection of the two major roads through the area.
  2. Water: This statue is in a wooden altar framed by four blue lamps, in an open area between buildings at the area's south-eastern edge.
  3. Fire: This statue is located in an alleyway just south-east of the Netsuke Collector Nekomata stall, opposite a bike rack and behind a parked white truck.

Kappagaike Torii Gate area Jizo statues

There is one Jizo statue in the Kappagaike Torii Gate area of the map:

  1. Water: This statue is located on a small pier at the southeastern corner of the shallow lake containing a torii gate.

Kirigoaka Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Kirigoaka Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located on the trail through the forest you must follow in pursuit of Erika. The second clue-giving cat is settled down right in front of it.
  2. Wind: This statue is located in the middle of the forest, near to the Kodama Yokai's location. It's propped against a tree in one of the rocky areas.

Kuo Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Kuo Shrine area of the map, but one of them actually remains inaccessible until you cleansed a neighbouring Shrine:

  1. Wind: This statue can be found at ground-level, among the construction work taking place on the overpass above the area's main road. Walk east from the shrine gate and, just before you get to the intersection, the statue can be found among the scaffolding along the median strip, next to some stairs leading up.
  2. Wind: This statue can be found in an altar in an alleyway behind a convenience store. The convenience store is accessible after the Kuo Torii Gate has been cleansed, but the alleyway behind it remains shrouded in fog until you cleanse the Shimokusa Shrine too.

Matsumi Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Matsumi Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is in an alleyway behind some apartment buildings, in the city block across the road to the south-west of the Matsumi Shrine. The statue stands in front of a bike shelter and is illuminated by a lantern.
  2. Wind: This statue is right on the south-western border between the Matsumi and Hirokawa Shrine areas. It's up a side street, in a small courtyard at a graveyard entrance, and has an illuminating lantern in a small shelter above it.

Mikubo Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Mikubo Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: Travel directly south of the area's shrine while staying within the same city block. You'll find this statue against the wall of a building with a metal exterior staircase leading up to its left, and a high fence on its right.
  2. Fire: This statue is located across from the highway overpass, underneath a tree surrounded by a bamboo fence, just a few steps away from where the Drunkard's Alley landmark triggers.

Momokane Building Rooftop Torii Gate area Jizo statues

There is one Jizo statue in the Momokane Building Rooftop Torii Gate area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located between graves, in a graveyard opposite a convenience store at the area's eastern border.

Morite Shrine area Jizo statues

There is one Jizo statue in the Morite Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue can be found in the extreme northeast of the area. It can be found on a coned-off section of pavement next to an underpass entrance, with a convenience store and a furniture store nearby.

Namihara Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Namihara Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is on a side-street, located between an "Incident Homes" business storefront and another business, and with a beige pick-up truck parked in front of it.
  2. Water: This statue is located in the middle of the largest city block on the western edge of the area, down some steps in a graffiti- and refuse-filled open area between buildings.

Namita Shrine area Jizo statues

There are three Jizo statues in the Namita Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: On the northern edge of the area, on the main street through that part of the zone. This statue is on the pavement in its own altar, nestled between Freshmoth Burger and another restaurant.
  2. Wind: This statue is somewhat hidden behind a pile of boxes on the edge of a construction site, most easily accessed by following the road directly south of the Yugenzaka Junction landmark.
  3. Wind: You can find this one just across the road from the Shiroyama Shrine entrance, but it's actually at the very southern edge of what the game considers the Namita Shrine region. You can find this statue on the pavement under a helpfully illuminating lantern, at the end of the short lane that intersects the street market directly opposite the shrine's entrance.

Noto Shrine area Jizo statues

There are no Jizo statues in the Noto Shrine area of the map.

Onten Shrine area Jizo statues

There are three Jizo statues in the Onten Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located across the road to the north of the area's shrine. It's on the edge of a pedestrian shopping complex on that block, with a green lantern nearby signalling its presence.
  2. Wind: This statue is located prominently right on the side of the road that runs parallel to the main highway through the area, opposite the intersection with a pedestrian crossing.
  3. Water: This statue is located at the entrance to the tunnel running underneath the highway.

Saihama Building Rooftop Torii Gate area Jizo statues

There is one Jizo statue in the Saihama Building Rooftop Torii Gate area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located in a narrow gap between houses to the north of the area's Torii Gate, next to a storage locker outside the entrance of an apartment building.

Sakano Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Sakano Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located on the top floor of the shopping centre, in a narrow gap containing various boxes, crates, and recycling bags and with a balcony railing overlooking the road.
  2. Water: This statue is located right on the border with the Onten Shrine area, beside a car park across from a gas station.

Shibuya Underground area Jizo statues

There are no Jizo statues in the Shibuya Underground area of the map.

Shimokusa Shrine area Jizo statues

There is one Jizo statue in the Shimokusa Shrine area of the map:

  1. Water: This statue is located in the same small city block as the Antique Nekomata stall, at the intersection of several alleyways between buildings.

Shiratsuki Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Shiratsuki Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: Head down a side-road to the east of the area's shrine and you'll see a yellow-and-black striped construction fence. The statue is against the wall of the nearest building, very close to the edge of the fence.
  2. Water: This statue is located directly below the highway, in a very grungy rundown area containing a bicycle shed.

Shiroyama Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Shiroyama Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: Exit the shrine park via the south-west path and go south to follow a side-street that intersects with the main road. The statue is in an altar next to the entrance to a small business premise which you can explore (and where you can find a relic).
  2. Fire: In a central alleyway in the middle of the city block directly to the east of the shrine, where you fight several Visitors to release a group of afflicted spirits.

Tatsui Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Tatsui Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: Head directly east from the area's shrine and across the road until you find a park with a graveyard nearby. This statue is in the middle of an open pedestrian area at the entrance.
  2. Wind: This statue is located at the end of a very narrow alleyway between two buildings in the southwest of the area. The entrance to the alley is marked by two very distinctive red lanterns.

Toyoi Shrine area Jizo statues

There is one Jizo statue in the Toyoi Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is located at the intersection where the main road through the area splits in two. The statue is on the pavement in the middle of this split.

Utagawa Shopping District area Jizo statues

There are five Jizo statues in the Utagawa Shopping District area of the map, but one of them actually remains inaccessible until you cleansed a neighbouring Shrine:

  1. Wind: This statue is right on the border with the Matsumi Shrine area, in a wooden altar beside a bicycle stand on the same street as "Incident Homes".
  2. Wind: This statue is in a courtyard behind and between several yellow houses at the northern edge of the district, just off the main road. The courtyard has a water pump and gardening equipment, and you'll have to fight two Students of Pain who are guarding the statue's altar.
  3. Water: This statue is easy to spot, as it's prominently located on a street corner at the intersection of the two widest streets in the north-eastern section of the shopping district.
  4. Water: This statue is placed against a concrete pillar supporting the overpass which crosses the northern edge of the district, and is illuminated by a lantern on either side. Cleansing the Utagawa Torii Gate will allow you to view this statue easily, but it remains covered by the fog and therefore unreachable until you cleanse more gates.
  5. Fire: This statue is in a courtyard off the main road through the southern part of the district, across from a storefront for a business called "Incident Homes". A nearby dog you encounter on the main street will lead you there if you give it some dog food.

Yamaki Shrine area Jizo statues

There is one Jizo statue in the Yamaki Shrine area of the map:

  1. Wind: This statue is on an overgrown grassy area just off the road to the east of the Kirigaoka Water Tower, between a blue bicycle shelter and some construction sawhorses.

Yashin Shrine area Jizo statues

There are two Jizo statues in the Yashin Shrine area of the map:

  1. Water: This statue can be found in a small courtyard just past the bus station interchange, directly to the north of the Construction Labyrinth landmark. It's in a seating area shielded from the main bus depot by a few shrubs and trees, and directly opposite a Nekomata vendor's stall.
  2. Fire: Find this statue in the southernmost corner of the construction-heavy city block where the Yashin Shrine itself is located. It's just outside of the construction area, placed prominently on a street corner at the large intersection where several main roads meet.
