Rainbow Six Siege Alibi: what she can do and how to use her
House of mirrors
While disorientating or blowing up opponents in Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is definitely tempting, confusing them into giving their identity and position away is arguably even more fun. Alibi is essentially a mobile house of mirrors, so our guide will detail just how best to use her ability and her arsenal on hand.
Alibi operator guide
With effective use of our Rainbow Six Siege guide hub, new players can really take a shine to the new tactics that Alibi's dopplegangers can offer. Her ability to make copies of herself that give away the enemy upon being fired upon is the strangest ability yet. Her arsenal is also relatively decent, even if there is an obvious downside associated with her guns.

Alibi's Weapon Loadouts
The guns in Alibi’s possession are the Mx4 Storm, a submachine gun with fairly decent rate of fire. She also has access to the ACS12 - the fully automatic shotgun that makes walls disappear. For sidearms, she has the same selection as Maestro, in that the Keratos .357 is a revolver that has decent damage and a low recoil. It’s only slightly more useful overall than the Bailiff 410, which is a pistol-sized shotgun.
Alibi's Gadgets
Alibi has access to impact grenades and deployable shields for her gadgets. Since she’ll likely want to be roaming around a fair bit more, the grenades may see a little more use, though the deployable shields could be good to support other players.
Alibi's Skill
Alibi’s ability has a lot of potential for silly shenanigans. You get a handful of holograms that you can deploy, which if they are shot by the enemy will tag them. This means you can set up a mirrored room scenario where only one of the standing Alibi’s is the real one. You can also position yourself on top of one of your holograms to hide in plain sight.
Should I pick Alibi?
For a more recent addition, Alibi herself is a relatively strong choice if you’re looking for something more ridiculous. First and foremost, do not change your costume at all. This enables you to get the most out of Alibi’s holograms as they all don a red beret. Those playing as Alibi will find their holograms subject to Twitch’s shock drones or Thatcher’s EMP grenades, but generally she’s an incredibly strong choice.
Alibi is fairly unique when it comes to the operatives in Rainbow Six Siege, so if you'd like to find out more about a simpler to understand operative, check out our main Rainbow Six: Siege operators guide, which has links to each individual operator, as well as an overview on the more universally useful ones and which ones beginners should consider learning.
