Star Plucker: Hoshi Saga 5
Crikey, a new one already! I do so love the Hoshi Saga series from Nekogames, as I was saying but only the other day. Part five is available now, and it's fantastic. Once more there's twenty-five micro-challenges asking you to find a star within an inventive, cute way. And unlike part four, this time there's toughies amongst the delightfully simple.
Which is how I like to think of myself amongst the RPS team. I know I've said it before, but the reason these games are so compelling is not just that they're beautiful (once again part five is in colour, with a lovely pastel, almost crayon-coloured theme), nor that each is yet another smart idea that could be fleshed out into its own Flash game, but that I play them with a broad smile on my face. Even those half-star difficulty levels (out of five stars) still make me beam as their easily, but wonderfully, completed.
People should care about these games as much as I do. Because I'm right. Play these. If you've never played any, there's 125 levels waiting for you! What a treat!
