Goat Sim Goes Galactic In New Expansion, Out Tomorrow

Just when you thought Goat Simulator [official site] couldn't get any stranger, eh? Beyond the basic premise itself, the parkour update, the MMO spin, GoatZ, the I Am Bread collaboration, the PayDay 2 crossover...deep breath...the latest expansion is taking the bleating blighter on a journey into outer space. Well of course it is.
Goat Simulator's Waste of Space expansion is out tomorrow.
In a typically tongue-in-check trailer, a number of famous space movies and sci-fi-leaning games fall victim to the game's satirically swiping humour. See how many nods you can spot for yourself:
So we had clear shots at Mass Effect, Portal, No Man's Sky, Star Wars, Star Trek, and Alien in there - did I miss any? Actually, you could probably tie just about any space 'em up, game or film, to the trailer's ramblings - even a prominent crowdfunding company takes a hit along the way.
Anyway, it may not have been all too clear there, but Waste of Space is apparently the biggest map in Goat Sim's history, say the creators. You'll learn how to be a "real bridge commander" and "fly and shoot stuff in space, because nobody makes games about flying and shooting in space anymore." Oh, and "no crew member will be left unromanced," whatever that means.
Then there's the faux-Schwarzenegger narrator. "Listen to me, you bastards," he demands. "You will stop at absolutely nothing to make the galaxy great again." Which evidently involves licking a crew member's face who has cherry-topped cream cakes covering their nipples. Which, amazingly, doesn't seem all too shocking given this game's previous. No crew member will be left unromanced, indeed.
Reading all of that back actually makes me wonder if all of this is an elaborate hoax. I guess we'll find out either way tomorrow, when Goat Simulator Waste of Space is due for Windows release. There's no mention of how much it'll cost, however both the GoatZ and PayDay 2 expansions came at at £3.99/$4.99/4,99€ for the sake of reference.
