Resident Evil Village is filled with little puzzles that'll either unlock some treasure or prove vital to progression in the game. One of these involves a bath of blood surrounded by some statues, and it can be a deceptively difficult affair if you miss out on the clues provided. Below I'll take you through how to complete the statue puzzle in Resident Evil Village.
Resident Evil Village: How to solve the Statue Puzzle
Once you've popped upstairs for the first time in Lady Dimitrescu's abode, you'll encounter a bath of blood surrounded by statues. To advance, you'll need to figure out which way to turn them all.
There's a plaque on the wall which reads: "Women are blind to male advances, but the poor shall take their chances to give their lord their bounty sown, so that soon the wine may flow."
Essentially, you'll want to match up the statues to mimic this story. But who has time to figure it out eh? Here's how to complete it:
- Turn the two women so they're facing one another.
- Turn the group of men towards the horse.
- Turn the horse towards the hooded woman.
As soon as you've clunked all of these statues in place, the blood will begin to drain and reveal a set of steps leading down into the dark. Now you have access to the dungeon portion of Dimitrescu's castle.
