Assassin's Creed Odyssey Silver Islands: how to complete the side quests

Home to people under oppressive rule of the cultist Podarkes, it seems the local resistance need your help. To aid them in their plight, the Spartans also sent one of their strongest fighters, though they can't exactly agree on how to take on Podarkes's men. This guide will go over the main side quests for the Silver Islands, how to liberate the people, and how to complete the side quests.

Trouble in Paradise

Rebels need your help on the island of Mykonos. You’ll need to find their leader, a woman named Kyra. She’s hiding in one of two hideouts, one on the north-eastern coast and one in the middle of the island. I found her in the central one. She’ll tell of Podarkes who has been hunting the rebels on the island. She’ll then get word of an attack, so follow Kyra and defeat the Athenian soldiers.

You’ll then get a choice, whether to attack head on or be more strategic about the fight ahead. The Spartan general will likely storm off to the beach. Kyra on the other hand will ask you to meet her at the Temple of Artemis if you side with her.

Kyra with a Cause

Kyra wants you to destroy the supplies in the ruins on Delos Island. Head over there and destroy them to put a major dent into Podarkes’s troops morale. Once you’ve done that little bit of sabotage, return to Kyra. You’ll be able to bond with Kyra a little, but romancing her will have to wait: there’s a rebellion to be won!

Bleeding Hearts and Stolen Money

It’s time to steal the treasury. Go to Miltiades Fort with Kyra. She’ll wait outside for your return. Your best route is via the hole in the north-eastern corner. Sneak your way over to the Nation Chest, killing any guards you may find along the way. Once pillaged, head back out the way you came and go to Kyra. If you try to seduce her, she’ll reveal that she is spoken for.

Chain of Possession

When taking on the previous quest, you may find an Athenian soldier killing a Spartan along the way. Kill him and loot the Spartan to find a letter. Head to the north of the island to find a chest in an abandoned camp. You may need to kill some wolves here, but that's it.

Goddess of the Hunt

Praxos will be fighting some Athenians when you approach. Kill them and talk to Praxos. He will direct you to Kyra. You’ll find her praying at the shrine dedicated to Artemis. She’ll challenge you to an archery contest. Follow her to the hunting grounds and shoot down three Ibexes. When finished, she’ll confess that she has feelings for you. If you agree, head to the beach and have a moment or two with her. You’ll get an option on whether to tell Thaleus, but you won’t do if you choose that option.

Call to Arms

Reduce the grip of the Athenian leader of the island first, then head to Herodianos the Spartan polemarch. This is a conquest battle, so head to our Assassin's Creed Odyssey conquest for more on how to complete these battles. You'll get the clue to track Podarkes after this mission.

Hades, Meet Podarkes

Simply kill Podarkes, the leader of the island and one of the many cultists you need to kill. Make him vulnerable by either completing some of the above quests - Kyra with a Cause & Bleeding Hearts and Stolen Money are good options. If he is ever overthrown, then he'll be extremely vulnerable as he'll have but a fraction of the guards he would normally have. Kill him to complete the quest and another target down in your quest to kill all the cultists.

M for Murder

A beggar will ask you to follow her to an abandoned house under the town. Climb down and investigate the house for clues. You'll then be asked to steal a doll from the house, so do so and return to the hideout. You can either reveal her lineage to the rest of the rebellion or not.

A Night to Remember

Upon completing all the other quests for Kyra, you'll unlock this one. Head to the point on the map to trigger a cutscene with Barnabas. He'll summarise your progress on the island. You'll be asked to say your farewells to the people of Delos. Both are on the southern beach, so head there. Head to the eastern one to talk to Kyra. Provided you didn't rat her out to the rest of the island, you'll assist her in sending Podarkes to the ferryman. Thaleus will be on the beach and not in the best of moods, especially if you seduced Kyra, so you may need to kill him. You do have the option to talk to Kyra before wrapping up the party, but it's probably not the best option. When you aim to disembark, Sokrates will greet you.

Grin and Bear it

In Delos, a wounded woman named Iola wants you to kill a beast who caused her wounds. You’re looking for a bear in the far north of the island. Kill it and investigate the local area, paying attention to the scrolls in the wreckage and the abandoned tent. It becomes clear that she’s a smuggler, so return to her and interrogate her for the reward.

That's all the side quests for this region. Head on back to our Assassin's Creed Odyssey side quests guide for more information about another quest-line or another region's set of side quests.
