Minecraft: Story Mode episode 1 free on Steam for a bit

Blorpo

You're still 'down with' teenagers, of course you are. Them with their interest in skateboarding and Ant & Dec and their cool lingo like 'cowabunga', 'necking' and 'jam that with a slice of ham'. You'll impress all your teen relatives at the coming month of festivities, I'm sure. But what about the younger ones? Do preteens still calling good things 'well Cbeebies' and bad things 'total Dipsy'? What do they even like? What will they think of you? What will they think of old, old you? It's fine: they're mostly into Minecraft and MDMA. I can help you with the former, at least. Look: the first episode of Telltale's Minecraft: Story Mode [official site] is free for a bit.

Swing by Steam and you can download Episode 1 now. Telltale say it's only free "for a limited time", which is pretty silly considering the episode is permafree on consoles and Windows 10. When we posted about the ep going free on the Windows Store, some of y'all complained about various reasons why you couldn't download it so hey, here it is in a slightly more accessible way. Shame it's not free on GOG now too.

But yes, download that, stick it in front of your nieces and nephews and cousins and all that, then be dismayed when they unleash a shocking torrent of obscenities, drink all your alcopops, start smoking, then blame it all on you when their parents return.

If I'm honest, I don't know all that much about children.
