Best M13 loadout and class setup in Warzone
The best M13 gear and attachments.
Sick of guns that require you to aim and control your recoil? Had enough of enemies taking you down while you adjust to a constantly-leaping reticule? Well, have I got the gun for you. The M13 can be kitted out to have one of the most ridiculously tidy recoil patterns in the entire game, and it’s a lot of folks’ favourite assault rifle because of it. It’s not the strongest, rangiest, or hardest-hitting, but when actually hitting your shots is this easy, all those stats and numbers fly out the window. So then, here’s the best loadout for the M13 in Warzone Pacific.

Best M13 loadout in Warzone
Here’s the absolute laser-beam loadout anyone who’s bigged up the M13 was probably using. It’s got all the attachments you need to boost range, whilst not losing out on your mobility as much as other low-recoil ARs. Here’s the attachment combination to use:
- Muzzle: Monolithic Suppressor (Level 60)
- Barrel: Tempus Marksman (Level 56)
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Optic (Level 31)
- Underbarrel: Commando Foregrip (Level 18)
- Ammunition: 60 Round Mags (Level 53)
It’s the same story with the M13 as it is with a lot of Warzone’s ARs. Maximum range, minimum recoil. That’s what these attachments are aiming to achieve for you. The Monolithic Suppressor is vital for this class, as being removed from the enemy radar as you fire helps you exponentially and stops you from getting third-partied by chumps looking to ruin your day. There’s also the Tempus Marksman barrel, which has the highest impact on your recoil and damage values. If you haven’t unlocked it yet, make sure you switch it on as soon as possible, as it makes an enormous and noticeable difference to this gun’s usability.
For your underbarrel attachment, give the Commando Foregrip a shot. It’s not quite as intense in reducing your recoil as the Merc Foregrip, but doesn’t harm your ADS time and mobility, so you won’t be quite as slow with this on the gun.
The VLK 3.0x Optic is always a nice go-to, and if you have it unlocked the ‘T-Pose’ customised reticule offers a super nice and clean sight line to look down. The zoom level is perfect, and with the low recoil you’ll be able to easily give your enemies a proper sorting from miles away.
Finally, you’ll want to use an extended mag in Warzone. Without it, you’ll have one hell of a rough time downing more than one person at a time given the M13’s high fire rate and low damage per bullet. The 60 Round Mags are 100% the way to go in this regard.
Secondary weapon
For the M13 loadout, I’d go for an Overkill secondary like an MP5 or Gallo SA12 - something that can melt enemies at close ranges when they come sneaking up on you.
If you’re really confident or want to grab Ghost early on though, feel free to whack out a Diamatti or JOKR. It’s only a short-term solution, but if you’re on your way to a second loadout it shouldn’t matter that much.
Best M13 loadout with Perks and Equipment
The M13 needs the right Perks and Equipment to get the best possible performance in Warzone - here’s what you should pick:
- Perk 1: EOD
- Perk 2: Overkill/Ghost
- Perk 3: Amped
- Lethal: Claymore
- Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor
With chumps running around chucking Semtex and Thermite around, you can’t be too careful. EOD can massively reduce your vulnerability to attacks from these explosives, as well as those folks who run around blasting you down with an RPG. I’ve already mentioned the value of Overkill for getting a powerful secondary weapon, but what you really want is Ghost. Enemies will be popping UAVs all over the shop later on in the game, and you do not want to be on their radar. Finally, Amped is the perfect option for when you need to get yourself out of a sticky situation, like when you get charged by a whole squad at your door as you pick off baddies in the distance. Switching to your secondary more quickly can help a whole lot here, and be the difference between life and death.
Now, just get your equipment sorted. I’ve picked Claymores for my lethal gear, as it can give you both free kills/damage and a warning of approaching enemies in your area. Keep your ears out as you place them and you can create some booby traps to give yourself the upper hand in gunfights. A Heartbeat Sensor is a fantastic choice too, especially if you’re up against squads. Often, entire teams aren’t ghosted at the same time, so you can use your heartbeat to sniff them out and get the drop on them.
How to unlock the M13 in Warzone
The M13 needs a little grinding to unlock. Coming from the Modern Warfare edition of COD, you’ll need to level up to rank 39 to start using this gun.
