Assassin's Creed Odyssey Alkibiades: how to complete the side quests

Another important Athenian you'll meet is Alkibiades - a rather loose cannon of a man who usually follows his heart's desires. He is also a master manipulator who never explicitly says exactly why he wants people to do a favour for him. In this guide, you'll find all the information regarding exactly what these favours are and how to complete them.

Citizenship Test

The great philosopher Sokrates is having a conversation with Alkibiades in the dock of western Athens. Alkibiades says that there is a person called Sophanes who wants to become an Athenian, but he needs your help getting his name on a list. What he actually means is that you need to access the Agora of Athens and forge his name on the list. It is guarded by three people, so deal with them, then sign the document. Return to Alkibiades for the reward and to start the next quest.

Witness Him

Alkibiades wants you now to get a witness, namely a man named Peiroos. He seems somewhat reluctant to be the witness. You have a choice to make here, whether to intimidate him or agree. After making your choice, go back to Alkibiades to get your reward and another earful from Sokrates.

Handle with Care

Arriving in Korrinth after dealing with his problems in Athens, he now wants you to deliver a package to Bardas in the military fort. He’ll ask who sent it. Answer and return to Elkibiades. You can seduce him again if you like here.

Designated Rider

Alkibiades has had one of his many parties, only this one has been a little too successful for one guest - a politician who is now off his horse. You’ll need to carry him to his house, though it becomes clear that Alkibiades’s directions are not accurate. Kill the three ambushing bandits and save the politician to get a reward.

Rock Hard

If you were able to save the politician from the previous quest, Alkibiades will be slightly disappointed. However he now wants to retrieve a “sentimental item” - an Olisbos. A woman east of your location has it, but it’s best not to be seen. Steal it and head back to Alkibiades.
It’s heavily implied what it is, but it isn’t actually Alkibiades’s trinket. You are able to get intimate with him once again should you wish.

Across the Border

You’ll next find Alkibiades next to Chroma Camp in Athens. His friend needs to be taken to the Sanctuary of Eleusis, but he wants him to survive the trip. Escort the friend for the entire nine miles, taking out any ambushers along the way. It turns out the friend is a woman trying to escape her husband.

Happily Ever After?

Alkibiades will be near your location after your smuggling job, so talk to him. Apparently he is actually in love. For the preparations, he needs a ring, flowers, and food for the offering. Take the items in the Altar of Love and meet his “future wife”. Turns out she's manipulating him, so you can either choose to tell him or not.

That's all the side quests for this questline. Head on back to our Assassin's Creed Odyssey side quests guide for more information about another quest-line or another region's set of side quests.
