Best BOND Skills to upgrade early
Once you’ve worked out how to earn more BOND Points in Persona 5 Strikers, you’ll want to invest them wisely. Some of these skills remain useful throughout your time with the game, and some can be picked up whenever you need a specific boost. Regardless, these BOND Skills are the ones you should be looking to upgrade first.
Bondmaker is a BOND skill you’ll want to get as soon as possible. It increases the rate at which you gain BOND Points, meaning you can unlock more BOND Skills later on in the game. It’s extremely important to grab as early as possible, as this’ll benefit you for the entire game. It was the first one I maxed out, and it should be the first for you too.
In Persona 5 Strikers, money talks. Extortionist increases the money you make at the end of each battle, making it much easier for you to stay healed up by buying items in towns, or purchasing the things required for quests like Ann’s Sendai Sweets mission. You’ll also want as much money as possible to keep your team’s kit up to scratch, and Extortionist is the best moneymaking BOND skill to invest in for this.
In addition to having more money to spend on healing items, wouldn’t it be nice if each of them healed you up much more than usual? That’s where Metaverse Medic comes in, boosting the amount each healing item restores for your team. This works for both HP and SP, so upgrade it to make your restoration go the extra mile in big boss battles.
Another great shout for staying alive in the Metaverse, Oracle Recovery heals your HP and SP at the end of each battle, allowing you to remain in the jail longer before having to get out. This is often vitally important and helpful when trying to reach the next checkpoint for a rest, or for situations when you’re hounded by encounters you’d much rather avoid. It’s pretty expensive, starting at 15 BOND Points, but it’s worth getting when you can.
HP and SP Boost
This one is pretty simple. It boosts the HP or SP of your party, depending on which one you choose to upgrade. The differences seem pretty minimal, but once you have Bondmaker upgraded, getting more SP and HP is extremely important to your success in the Metaverse. The cost of upgrading these BOND Skills remains fairly low as they level up too, meaning you can often use your leftover BOND Points to boost your HP or SP.
