Best Swiss K31 loadout and class setup in Call of Duty: Warzone

How to run the Swiss K31 class with the best loadout in Warzone.

Wanna optimise your Swiss K31? Read on. In Warzone, there’s a pretty solid go-to when it comes to the sniper meta. You have a few for quickscoping, and a few for blasting down enemies from absolutely miles away. The Swiss K31 sits solidly on the side of the former, with an ADS speed almost as quick as the Kar98k and even higher damage. Here’s how to build the best Swiss K31 loadout in Warzone Pacific.

Best Swiss K31 loadout in Warzone

Now we have the Swiss K31 unlocked, why not give it a shot in-game? This loadout is the best one for aggressive sniping, and you’ll be able to get those one-shot headshots if you’ve got the accuracy to pull it off.

Here are the attachments you should aim to use with the Swiss K31:

  • Muzzle: GRU Suppressor (Level 46)
  • Barrel: 24.9” Combat Recon (Level 30)
  • Optic: Royal & Kross 4x (Level 27)
  • Ammunition: 7 Round (Level 8)
  • Rear Grip: Serpent Wrap (Level 44)
This Swiss K31 has the GRU suppressor, 25.9 inch combat recon, royal and cross 4x, 7 round mag, and Serpent Wrap attachments.

This class is here to maximise the Swiss’ bullet velocity whilst keeping hold of the solid mobility stats available to it. I’ve got the Royal & Kross 4x optic because it makes you aim-down-sights a bit faster. This makes it a whole lot harder to get caught out by enemies when you’re sniping them from afar.

The GRU Suppressor is of course a classic - it boosts your bullet velocity and range whilst keeping you off the enemy radar. Like most guns, it’s super important to get off the radar when you’re firing to avoid being rumbled by third parties.

We’re maximising bullet velocity here with the 24.9” Combat Recon barrel. It makes your idle sway slightly more wonky, but let’s be honest - you’re going to be firing real quick and repositioning with the Swiss K31, so you’re hopefully not going to be idle for long.

Finally, the 7 Round magazine is great for giving you that little bit more flexibility in sniper fights before having to reload, and the Serpent Wrap boosting your ADS speed means you’ll hopefully be able to aim in and get your shot off before your enemies do.

Secondary weapon

The Milano and Cold War AK-47 are the two best sniper supports in Warzone right now. Go with either of these, and you’ll have one of the most powerful loadouts in the game. If you don’t like their feel, the MP7 is another good option. We think the AK-74u is underrated as a sniper support as well.

Best Swiss K31 loadout with Perks and Equipment

Here are the best Perks and Equipment for going alongside the Swiss K31:

  • Perk 1: EOD
  • Perk 2: Overkill/Ghost
  • Perk 3: Amped
  • Lethal: Thermite
  • Tactical: Heartbeat Sensor

EOD is a nice, simple one. Enemies will often push with Semtex or Thermite when trying to take a position, and EOD can stop that from becoming a death sentence, letting you live a bit longer. Amped is also perfect for situations like this - if you’re sniping with your Swiss K31 and someone starts beaming you from the side, quickly swapping to your secondary and challenging them back can be the difference between life and death.

Ghost is on most classes these days, and for good reason. After getting Overkill to ensure you have a good sniper support gun, pick up Ghost to make sure you’re off the enemy radar when they use UAVs and Heartbeat Sensors.

Thermite serves a great purpose in Warzone at the moment, being highly effective against vehicles as well as acting as a strong area-denial tool against human players for a prolonged period of time. This allows you to force enemies down certain fights and pathways they might not want, or offers you a distraction while you try to hit that nasty headshot.

In squad-based modes, a Heartbeat Sensor is the best way to go, since whole squads are unlikely to be completely Ghosted up. It’s really powerful and allows for some great pushing when you communicate with your teammates on enemy locations, so give it a shot if you want to be the one to make those callouts.

How to unlock the Swiss K31 in Warzone

The Swiss K31 was originally part of the Season 3 Battle Pass. If you didn’t unlock it then, you’ve got a couple of challenge options now. The first is to earn two headshot kills with Sniper Rifles in 15 different matches in Warzone or Cold War Multiplayer. This one is pretty easy to do in Cold War, where you’ll have plenty of headshot opportunities per game. Just hop into a mode with quicker games like Team Deathmatch and fire away. If you don’t own Cold War, stick to Plunder so you can spawn and respawn with your loadout in hand. Just remember, the Kar98k is technically a Marksman Rifle. Try a ZRG or Pelington for this challenge.

You also have the option of unlocking the Swiss in Zombies. The challenge there is to kill 5 or more enemies with Critical Kills using Sniper Rifles rapidly 100 times. If you’re a Zombies prodigy you can probably get this done fairly quickly in Outbreak. Otherwise, stick to Multiplayer.

That’s everything for the best Swiss K31 loadout! While you’re grinding for those levels, why not have a look at the Warzone Audio Bang podcast, or take your pick from the whole meta with the Warzone best guns tier list.
