Man On Man Action: Splinter Cell: Blacklist Co-op Trailer

Wanted: one co-op partner for Splinter Cell: Blacklist. Must enjoy crashing through doors simultaneously, long walks in the dark, and pretending that one of the character's is still voiced by Michael Ironside. Preference given to someone that can quote Chaos Theory's Sam/guard chats and those who would rather muck about with the AI over actually following the mission text. To be in with a chance, watch the video below and apply in the comments.

Hmm. HMMM. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM. I am pondering Splinter Cell: Blacklist, and how it has slowly and steadily wormed its way into the "cautious optimism" section of my spreadsheet of upcoming games. There have a been a few bumps in the road: the overly Gears of Warrish E3 presentation was one, then there was a video that showed off three different ways to approach a level that appeared to fundamentally misunderstand a key aspect of stealth. At this point I was making a face and feeling a bit sad about it all, but then they showed off Spies Vs Mercs, which looked like it understands one of the building blocks of my love for the series.

And now there's co-op. This trailer is packed with plentiful shooting, which is not what I want, but I think that's just to keep people entertained. It has co-op boost moves, probably the thing that sold me on Chaos Theory's co-op, a clothesline, and door bashes.

Door. Bashes.

It’s out August 23rd, and I will play it.
