Kapkan's Weapon Loadouts

Kapkan's weapons include the SASG-12, which is not the best thanks to its limited range and a huge spread for relatively low damage. The 9x19VSN is the better option for medium range combat. His handgun choices are the GSH-18 which has better recoil and ammo capacity than his other option - the PMM, at the cost of damage per shot.

Kapkan's Gadgets

Sporting some rather explosive gadgets, Kapkan has the impact grenade and the Nitro Cell. Perhaps moreso here than anyone else, C4 is more explosive than a grenade, so the best bet is to choose the C4.

Kapkan's Skill

Kapkan has the EDD MK II, which is a tripwire explosive that can be placed on doorways or windows. Its effectiveness largely depends on whether the tripwire is placed in an area of decent lighting or bad lighting, as it's incredibly bright in darkness. To get the most out of it, place in well-lit areas where there is a higher amount of footfall, then you can tempt them to chase you.

Should I pick Kapkan?

Having someone to seal off certain points completely is better, but laying a trap or two that can catch the enemy off guard is certainly useful at times. Just be aware that the guns for Kapkan are the same as the ones for Tachanka and they're not the best out there. Still, he's infinitely more useful in a defensive situation.
