Best ZRG 20mm loadout in Warzone
I’ve picked out a single loadout for the ZRG 20mm which I feel works best for how it should be used. This long-range, high bullet velocity loadout is the one to go for with the ZRG 20mm, as otherwise its slow mobility and ADS speed will harm you far more than it’ll help.
So then, here are the attachments for the best bullet velocity ZRG 20mm loadout:
- Muzzle: Agency Moderator (Level 46)
- Barrel: 43.9” Combat Recon (Level 30)
- Underbarrel: Bruiser Grip (Level 33)
- Ammunition: 5 Round (Level 8)
- Rear Grip: Airborne Elastic Wrap (Level 53)
Your Agency Moderator is the perfect starting point for a long-range loadout with the ZRG 20mm. You can only one-shot kill with headshots, so making sure you’re maximising your bullet velocity is vital to clicking on heads. Barrel-wise, we’re also maximising bullet velocity with the 43.9” Combat Recon. This barrel has the best effect on your bullet velocity and helps the most with making the gun as close to hitscan as possible.
The default magazine capacity is unfortunately only three bullets, so make sure you have the 5 Round ammunition attachment or you’ll find yourself reloading way too often.
I’ve chucked on the Bruiser Grip and Airborne Elastic Wrap to make this gun’s aim-down-sights time as fast as possible. This is great quality of life on such a beefy weapon. Even if you're mostly sitting on rooftops, some handling and mobility can't hurt.
Some players aren’t as keen on the default sniper scope though, so if that’s something you’re concerned with, feel free to get rid of the Bruiser Grip and chuck on the Royal & Kross 4x optic to clean your sightlines up a little bit.
Secondary weapon
I really like running this weapon with a decent sniper support gun. A midrange Cold War AK-47 build or a Milano loadout will work absolute wonders with the ZRG 20mm. The XM4 can still make a respectable sniper support too.
Best ZRG 20mm loadout with Perks and Equipment
Here’s all the best Perks and Equipment you should be grabbing when it comes to your ZRG 20mm loadout:
- Perk 1: EOD
- Perk 2: Overkill/Ghost
- Perk 3: Amped
- Lethal: Proximity Mine
- Tactical: Stun Grenade
EOD is an obvious choice. It decreases the chances of you dying to enemy explosives, and with many people running Semtex or Thermite, you might just need that to survive and get your snipe off. Overkill is what I’ve gone for here in the second slot because it’s extremely important to have a secondary weapon when you run a sniper. Once you've got your full loadout, grab Ghost to stay off of UAVs. Finally, I’ve gone for Amped, as it allows you to take your other weapon out much quicker. When your position gets flanked, this will save your skin.
Equipment-wise, I’ve picked the Proximity Mine, as it serves the double purpose of giving you an audio warning when enemies are attacking your position, whilst also dealing damage to make them easier to take out with your MP5 or M4A1. Stun Grenades are great too, since they can net you free kills as you defend a position or push enemies.
